Writing has always been a passion of mine, and the older I become, the more important it reveals itself to be. My writing experience includes a wide variety of content and styles. Much of my recent writing experience has been academic and focused on her marketing degree program. The writing samples are sorted by date, with the most recent pieces at the top.
Social Media Marketing Proposal for BMZ Motors: As a part of the course’s overarching project, students ran a social media marketing campaign for a local business. Each student submitted a proposal to the business owner. My group was assigned to BMZ Motors in Island Heights, NJ, and my proposal was the one selected. Our social media campaign kicked off on March 21st, 2019 and ran until early May. Completed for Kean University’s Social Media course (COMM*3533), taught by Professor Gina Gili.
Failed Social Media Marketing Analysis – Would You Rather Think Now or Apologize Later?: This short case study asked students to explore a failed social media marketing campaign. I chose to write about the a 2018 incident with Snapchat, where a third party advertised for a ‘Would You Rather’ style game, which resulted in immediate blowback for Snapchat, of which they are still feeling the effects. Completed for Kean University’s Social Media course (COMM*3533), taught by Professor Gina Gili.
