As of today, there are just 6 more weeks left in the spring semester. My last spring semester is almost done! Wow, wow, wow. I cannot believe it. Honestly, it is mind-blowing. Real confessions, I don’t know if I’m feeling all that sad about it, but definitely a little panicky.. more on that later! First, let’s talk about class
Managerial Decision Modelling
Current Grade: 90? // A
Current Grade: 100 // A+
I can safely say I’m pretty confident in this class. Not to say that the class doesn’t still have some struggles, because it definitely does. One big perk, I’m getting two free certifications from Hoot Suite Academy through this class!
Marketing & Advertising Communication
Current Grade: Absolutely No Clue
This professor is great, but what drives me crazy is the fact that he doesn’t ever upload grades into Blackboard! That being said, he did give us our exam grades back pretty quickly via email. And he has a really generous late policy which I appreciate too, especially since I totally forgot a small paper we had to do!
Current Grade: 95 // A
The jury is still out on how I feel about this class. It’s not super difficult, but there’s a lot of work. I really like the professor for this class, but she is crazy tough. I’m really proud of my work from this class though, I aced the first paper and the first exam.
Current Grade: 91 // A-
This class is hard. Like really hard. It’s the mathematical side of supply chain management and six sigma. My professor is so nice and so patient, honestly, thank god
Goals for this Semester
Keep Procrastination in Check I have one more assignment to make up. I really want to stay up to date on my things, because being behind is a massive cause of stress for me.
Race Training I have been trying to train for a 5 mile race this May. With class kicking up like crazy the past couple weeks, I have barely hit the gym at all. I need to take my time to get back to it in the next few weeks before the race on Memorial Day Weekend.
GPA to 3.65 A GPA of 3.65 is the minimum to be able to graduate magna cum laude, with high latin honors. Higher is better, don’t get me wrong, summa cum laude would be amazing.
With the rest of my semester, I have to pick my fall classes, apply for graduation, and hopefully find an internship. The way things are looking for my final semester this fall, there are some really exciting things coming! Maybe even breaking into some different mediums for content too..
Preparing to leave the academic world where I have spent 18 of my 22 years is a really big step. That, plus planning to leave my hometown where I have spent my entire life, it’s a lot to take in. I’m a little nervous thinking about it, with so many what-ifs, but I’m feeling so confident and excited about the future that 2019 and 2020 will bring!
